An Evening With Father Abuchi

Mass “in the woods” as Father Abuchi lovingly refers to it, was wonderful. It is very apparent that the parishioners and council 9920 of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, appreciate having Father Abuchi as their spiritual leader.

The entire reception was wonderful and engaging. Father Abuchi could not say enough good things about the Long Valley Council (OLM, St Mark and St Luke represented last night) and the color corps from August J Rampone Assembly. He also appropriately recognized Deacon Jim Jones (and wife Cindy) for his participation in the mass celebration. Father Abuchi said that parishioners from Long Valley have been at a mass every week since in moved “to the woods” and appreciates that we continue because it brings great joy to him.

The festivities that followed the mass offered time to mingle with our fellow Brothers from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Council No. 9920.  In the attached photo, Seated from left: Tom Sanders, Fr.
