OLM Table Project

The Knights of Columbus completed refurbishing of four old tables from Our Lady of the Mountain Parish Hall. The tables were estimated to have served the parish for well over 30 years.  Since the tops were broken and the base frame and legs were strong and in good condition, it was decided to try to refurbish some of the worst of tables.

Tables were selected by Grand Knight, Mike Lennon and Brother John Groel and base frames and legs were removed and tops discarded.

New prefinished maple plywood tops were ordered along with new edge moulding.

Tops were cut to size with the help of our parishioner, Ron Zelinski and his shop.

Meanwhile the legs and base frames were sanded and prepped with the help of Brothers Dennis McKenna, Jack Wolfe, Tom Sanders & John Groel. Legs were spray painted and tops reassembled.

The sparkling new tables were delivered to the OLM Parish Hall on Monday October 1, where they should provide many more years of service.

Please check out the new tables next time your at OLM.
